They came, saw and conquered.

A visit from German basketball league stars

One week ago, players from the basketball team Alba Berlin made a stop in Zeulenroda on their way to the national league game in Bayreuth. The team, which is currently at second place in the German basketball league, visited the headquarters for a quick two-hour stopover including product shoots. Some players were equipped for the final stretch of the season. The “big boys” from Berlin also had a chance to see the production site briefly.

Bauerfeind has been a partner of Alba Berlin since 2015, so the Bauerfeind Sports team was especially excited to welcome the “Albatrosses” to Zeulenroda for the first time. The players are familiar with the medical range as well as the products from Bauerfeind Sports, which they wear preventively during training and games as well as for recovery.

Alba youngster Malte Delow was fitted with a new TRIactive insole by master orthopedic technician Dirk Schwager. Likewise the German national player Maodo Lô. At 2.21 meters, the tallest Alba player Christ Koumadje was provided with a sports bandage.

The agenda for the visit also included a photo shoot to generate images and short clips for marketing.

The guests also got a glimpse of the production and logistics facilities. They were particularly impressed by the size of the production site and the automated small parts warehouse.

By the way: Alba won the game in Bayreuth comfortably 83-72, and started the playoffs for the German Championship on Sunday.
