A successful year in 2021

With THW Kiel and Alba Berlin, we were able to celebrate the German championship in the German leagues for handball and basketball. Gymnast Andreas Toba became the runner-up European champion on the high rack. The Hannover native also delivered a strong performance in the team competition at the Olympic Games and will start his last gymnastics season with Bauerfeind next year. Another success: In March, Dirk Nowitzki’s contract was renewed. He will remains as Bauerfeind’s brand ambassador until at least 2024.

Apart from these partnerships, we have continued our collaboration with the Deutsche Sporthilfe foundation. As a service partner, Bauerfeind provides support to more than 3,800 athletes and virtually all Olympic athletes from Germany. In 2021 we supplied more than 1,500 products, including numerous treatments in advance of the Olympic Games.

We also cooperate with regional associations such as the Zeulenroda gymnastics and sports club and FC Motor Zeulenroda as well as the successful German league female bowling club SV Pöllwitz.

Since 2009, Bauerfeind has been a partner of THW Kiel and has celebrated eight German championship titles and three Champions League victories with these handball players alone.

The partnership with the “Albatrossen” dates back to 2015. This basketball team defended their championship title in 2021.

Our collaboration with SSC Palmberg Schwerin is still relatively new. Bauerfeind has worked together with this female volleyball team since 2020. In 2021, the team made it to the podium and became runner-up champions in the German volleyball league.

Our partnership with Andreas Toba has been ongoing since the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. We are especially thrilled about his comeback and European Championship runner-up title in 2021.

Long-distance runners Lisa and Anna Hahner have been Bauerfeind partners since 2015. The twins can be seen in many campaigns of Bauerfeind Sports. In 2021, Anna Hahner won the Rennsteig marathon.

Thomas Röhler had a difficult year in 2021 with many injuries. Next season, he will start fresh again with the support of Bauerfeind. In October 2021, he visited the company in Zeulenroda.
