Bauerfeind on evening television

Germany’s TV channel Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) filmed an elaborate documentary at the Bauerfeind site in Zeulenroda, Germany, early in October. Focusing on the topic “30 years after the reunification”, a team from the show “ZDFzeit” visited several East German family businesses in order to report on their development after the German reunification in a film lasting 45 minutes. The filmmakers spent nearly a whole day at Bauerfeind and recorded footage in the production halls and in the Tower, for example. The TV team was particularly interested in the question of what motivates young people to take a job so close to home. That’s why the main focus was on Patrick Seiß, Head of Domestic Customer Service. The 31-year-old started his apprenticeship at Bauerfeind in 2008. He then studied alongside his work and is now the Head of our German Customer Service Department.
