Employees at the company premises in Gera enjoyed a three-layer strawberry cake together on the occasion of the first anniversary of their site. This treat was a symbolic thank-you for the work carried out so far because everything is going really well at Bauerfeind in Gera. This was emphasized by Andreas Lauth (Chief Technical Officer, see photo), Frank Bergemann (Supply Chain Manager), and Lars Eulitz (Site Manager at the Gera company premises) in their speeches in front of approximately 60 mployees. Around 30 different orthoses are currently manufactured in Gera. The flat-knit VenoTrain curaflow compression stocking is sewn there, with plans to also have it nitted in Gera from September.
