Global Cyber Security Training

At the end of January, a comprehensive, mandatory Cyber Security Training program started across the entire Bauerfeind Group for all those at Bauerfeind who use a computer or laptop. The extensive e-learning program consists of different modules on topics such as data protection, social fraud and password security. Torsten Henning, Head of Internal Audit, explains how you can access your modules and why you should make a start straight away.

Mr. Henning, let’s start with the most important question: how do our colleagues find their modules?

They receive reminder emails from the sender: “Bauerfeind Cyber Security (EXTERNAL) <awareness@securityeducation.com>” at regular intervals, most recently on February 27, 2021. In March, too, they will be reminded again. Don’t be confused by the classification (EXTERNAL). You can safely click on the link in this email, and it will take you to the overview page with your pending modules. You can start with your online learning session there without the need to login.

How much time should be set aside for this Cyber Security Training?

In total, the training consists of three parts: the first one is now available online and comprises four modules. You should set aside between four to ten minutes for working on each module. The second part with additional modules will follow in May, and the third and last one in August. So we recommend you start now as all three parts need to be completed by November 30, 2021.

What else must be borne in mind during the training?

There are currently many more than four modules available on the page – but only the first four are mandatory. Those are the modules in the “My Tasks” tab. Additional training units are available under “Additional Training”, which can be worked on voluntarily.

If you have any questions about this training, please contact Torsten Henning, Head of Internal Audit.
