Happy anniversary!

It is not only Bauerfeind in Germany that has been around for an amazing 91 years – some of Bauerfeind’s 20 subsidiaries are also well-established companies in their own countries: one of those is celebrating its anniversary this year. We would like to congratulate Bauerfeind in the US on 35 years in business!

In 1985, Bauerfeind began the sale of the five products GenuTrain, EpiTrain, MalleoTrain, ViscoHeel, and ViscoHeel K in the US, more precisely in Kennesaw, GA, with three employees. It was a challenge initially to convince customers of the products’ effectiveness. This gradually improved, however, and now, the company sells 110 products, it has developed an excellent online business via its own website and Amazon, and it maintains close contacts with the best basketball league in the world – the NBA.
