Olympic Wintergames 2026
Bauerfeind employees live on the spot
On February 8, 20 employees from production and logistics experienced the Olympic Games in Antholz. They watched the Mixed-Relay competition in biathlon, where two men and two women from the same nation start together. The participants even experienced a German medal: Germany won bronze with the starters Justus Strelow, Philipp Nawrath, Vanessa Voigt, and Franziska Preuß.
The action was created because tickets for the international customer event in Milan at the end of January were purchased, but cannot be used by all participants. "I'm all the more pleased that these tickets will now benefit the employees who manufacture and ship our products, including for the Olympics," says CEO Rainer Berthan. The demand in production and logistics was so great that participants had to be drawn by lottery.
On Friday, February 20, more Bauerfeind employees from these areas will have the opportunity to watch an Olympic competition together: they can experience the women's 1,500-meter speed skating live in Milan. Tickets have already been drawn for this event as well. We look forward to photos!
