2026 Winter Olympics in Italy
What is new for Bauerfeind this time

“The important thing is taking part.” Or, as they say in Italian, “Esserci è tutto.” Bauerfeind is one of the local sponsors of the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina in 2026. From January 30 through February 24, 2026, Bauerfeind’s Olympics Team will take care of athletes with medical aids in the Olympic Villages. We will show you what is special about our time in Italy.
Six Bauerfeind treatment set-ups
The logistics will be quite challenging: While there have been one or two Olympic Villages at other Winter Olympics, there will be six in Italy. This means that there will be Bauerfeind Teams in different locations. These are car journeys of several hours away from each other. In order to ideally support the athletes in each Olympic Village, Bauerfeind will be represented in Milan, Livigno, and Cortina d’Ampezzo each with a major treatment center. In Anterselva, Predazzo, and Bormio, there will be smaller treatment centers.
Taking 3D printers on a journey
Roughly 6,000 products from the areas Medical, Sports, and b:joynz will be available. In addition to our measurement technology and grinding machines, 3D printers will make their debut at some locations. This means that athletes from all over the world can be treated with Bauerfeind’s 3D-printed orthotic blanks for the first time, in addition to the tried-and-tested methods.
Partnership with Olympic Champions
Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi are Bauerfeind’s new partners. The 2022 Olympic bobsleigh champions embody the enjoyment of being active, which the global “Move with Bauerfeind” campaign represents. The campaign depicts activity as a universal language and support as an invisible force behind every peak performance. The matching slogan is: “Move with Bauerfeind. Because every move matters.”
How did the contract with the Organizing Committee come about?
Bauerfeind’s Olympics Team and the company’s Italian subsidiary are in regular contact with top sporting associations. They have established a long-standing rapport with the representatives of the 2026 Olympic Games Organizing Committee in Milan and Cortina. These representatives have always highlighted the importance of high-quality treatment of athletes. It is therefore a great recognition for Bauerfeind and of benefit to the athletes that Bauerfeind was so convincing and has been part of the Games as a sponsor of the Organizing Committee since the end of May.
