Working hand in hand with elite sports
Bauerfeind France supports INSEP

The Olympic Games will take place in Paris this year, almost right on the doorstep of our French subsidiary. In addition to looking forward to the global event, the subsidiary has a special connection with elite sports.
Similar to our partnership with Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe in Germany, the French subsidiary has cooperated with the Institut National du Sport, de l’Expertise et de la Performance (INSEP) since October 2023. This institution is under the aegis of the French Ministry of Sports and is the leading Olympic and Paralympic training center for sports in France. The cooperation with Bauerfeind France includes, in addition to the provision of Bauerfeind products, close exchange with INSEP physicians and physical therapists as well as training offers. “The partnership with INSEP was a logical step for us. We have the same mission of delivering top performance in the relevant area,” explains Dr. Philippe Chenaie, CEO of the Bauerfeind France subsidiary.

It was Dr. Chenaie who, with his medical and sporting experience, established contact with the funding and training organization for elite athletes in Paris and supported it over the years. “I was actively involved in judo for over 25 years and therefore familiar with the work and structures of this important sports center.” Dr. Philippe Chenaie’s current task includes organizing requests and meetings. Feedback received by the colleagues working with Dr. Philippe Chenaie is continuously included in their work. “We don’t see ourselves so much as a sponsor but as a partner of INSEP, utilizing the experiences gained for the further development of our medical aids to meet the expectations and needs of patients even more effectively,” Dr. Philippe Chenaie highlights.
The French colleagues have a particular focus while following the Olympic Games: Dr. Philippe Chenaie adds: “We’re not just spectators but medical specialists who can provide valuable help in the event of emergencies.”
