In Spring 2024, the Management Team defined its Mission and Vision for Bauerfeind. Team Leaders have been distributing this message in the various divisions since the end of May. “Nahtlos Magazine” is answering the most important questions.
What is Bauerfeind’s Mission and Vision?
Our Mission is: We are the brand in orthopedics and compression with the best solutions. We set standards. We are leaders in innovation. We are continuing to grow and we grow together. Our Vision is: We help people all over the world enjoy being active for their entire lives.
Why do we need a Mission and Vision for Bauerfeind?
Our market has changed significantly and, fortunately, Bauerfeind has grown above average. That shows that we have been able to successfully adapt to changes so far. Our Mission and Vision will help us maintain perspective in the future and make strategic decisions. They define what we represent and what we want to achieve.
What impact does this Mission and Vision have on our staff?
Our Mission and Vision is important because it clearly spells out what we work toward every day (Mission) and where we want to go (Vision). Each employee can derive from this how to contribute. Often, this will mean critical analysis and internal discussions. And this communication within the teams is what we want – and what can bring about great results.
What is the objective?
Mission and Vision must be familiar throughout the company so that every employee has the opportunity to get actively involved in what is going on at Bauerfeind. This is a continuous process with the objective that everyone understands where the company is headed and the importance of each employee’s role. If anything is unclear or a decision may seem odd, please ask – within your team or your Line Manager. This is the only way we can ensure that all measures are aligned with our Mission and Vision.
